About the Role
We are currently seeking a Gas Bottle Filler to join the close-knit team at our client's Auckland, Papakura location. This role involves working outdoors in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for filling gas bottles with LPG, assessing and inspecting returned gas bottles, and loading and unloading trucks with LPG gas bottles. Additionally, you will be engaging in the manual relocation of bottles, either by lifting or rolling them.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Physical fitness, as the position is physically demanding.
- A clear Ministry of Justice check.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and adhere to instructions.
- A focus on health and safety, particularly due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- A current forklift license is preferred, although experience is not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay rate of $27.80 per hour, with weekly payments. The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
