About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Building Supplies department. This area, located at our main entrance, serves as the first impression for our customers. We are looking for someone with outstanding customer service skills, a keen eye for detail and presentation, and a fun, engaging personality. Our Building Supplies department features a wide range of products, including Plumbing, Automotive, Power Tools, and Lighting. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer receives the right product and exceptional service every time they visit our store. Going the extra mile will be a standard expectation for you. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities: - Enthusiasm and a strong sense of team spirit - A passion for delivering customer service excellence - Good time management skills - A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible - A willingness to learn - Excellent communication skills Previous retail experience, particularly within this department or with its products, will be viewed favorably. This role reports to the Store Manager and is categorized as a casual part-time position. As such, hours will be varied and not guaranteed, making it ideal for someone seeking a few hours of work during the week in their spare time.
