About the Role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for Permanent Part-Time Catering Assistants to join our team at Napier Airport Operations in partnership with Air New Zealand. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional lounge experience for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring our engaging service culture translates into outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers.
- Providing professional customer service and creating a warm, friendly, and welcoming ambiance.
- Assisting with basic food preparation and presentation.
- Managing stock control.
- Maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- A hard-working, friendly, and outgoing personality.
- Experience in a similar environment is preferred, along with a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167). We are also open to providing training for candidates willing to obtain this certification.
- Superior customer service skills.
- A genuine passion for great food and quality customer service.
