About the Role We are currently seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Auckland branch, reporting directly to the Service Foreman. In this permanent position, your primary responsibility will be to service and repair our products for a diverse range of customers. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in Allison Transmissions. The role offers a standard workweek of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with a competitive pay range of $38 to $43 per hour. Responsibilities include: - Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining transmissions for various clients in a professional and efficient manner. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. - Ensuring effective communication with the parts department to facilitate smooth workflows. - Completing scheduled maintenance and responding to breakdowns as needed. - Tagging all warranty parts with accurate information. - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. We are ideally looking for: - Previous experience working on Allison Transmissions is highly desirable. - A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. - A self-starter who demonstrates initiative and strong problem-solving skills. - Someone who knows how to work hard while enjoying the camaraderie of a team. - Physical fitness and the ability to meet the demands of the role.
