About the Company We are a leading electrical company based in the South Island, specializing in commercial and industrial electrical services. Proudly 100% locally owned and operated, we serve clients from Bluff to Central Otago, including Christchurch and Dunedin. We are excited to expand our team with the addition of an Industrial & Heavy Commercial Electrician to support our ongoing workload. About the Role In this role, you will manage multiple clients within the Dunedin area. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a small team, providing technical guidance, ongoing maintenance, plant installation services, and fault diagnostic expertise. You will be responsible for organizing your own work schedule and communicating directly with clients. Core Responsibilities - Perform servicing and fault finding for large commercial and industrial clients. - Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs of commercial appliances. - Utilize your knowledge of commercial and industrial control systems. - Apply sound mechanical knowledge in your work. - Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety requirements. The Ideal Person We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience: - A full New Zealand Electrical Licence. - A minimum of 3 years of relevant New Zealand electrical experience. - Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills. - Relevant work experience in an industrial setting. - Excellent communication skills. - A full, current driver’s license. - A good level of computer literacy. - An immediate New Zealand work visa.
