PM Distribution Centre Team Member (Fixed Term )

Our Distribution Centre serves as the heart of our business, especially during peak season when we strive to ensure that our stock reaches its destination efficiently. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our PM Shift Support Team. About the Role As a member of the PM Shift Team, you will play a vital role in supporting various departments within our Distribution Centre. This hands-on position is fast-paced and dynamic, providing opportunities to engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our facility. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting multiple departments based on daily priorities - Stacking pallets (ranging from 1kg to 30kg) and sorting stock by barcode - Using RF scanners to monitor stock movement - Wrapping pallets and assisting with dispatch operations - Labelling, strapping, and preparing stock for delivery - Bulk picking and providing general warehouse support - Responding promptly to changing needs throughout your shift This is a fixed-term position that will last until mid-January 2026. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, either from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with a competitive pay rate of $30.28 per hour. Please be aware that this role is designed to support our peak period, and extended leave requests during this busy time, including around Christmas and New Year's, are unlikely to be approved. Additionally, we do not operate on public holidays. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities: - Physical fitness and reliability, with a readiness to work on your feet - An appreciation for variety and a willingness to learn different aspects of our operation - Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills - Excellent communication abilities, allowing you to transition smoothly between tasks - Flexibility and a proactive approach to collaborating with different teams - Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution centre is helpful but not essential Please note that you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
