About the Role
We are currently seeking three enthusiastic Cleaning Assistants to join our team at Fonterra in Maungaturoto for a casual position. This role offers flexible working hours, allowing you to fit it around a busy schedule. The hours of work will be on an "as and when" basis, depending on business needs.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, including:
- Cleaning all bathrooms, toilets, rooms, and offices
- Vacuuming and polishing floors
- Emptying rubbish bins
- Maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Performing general cleaning duties as required
- Managing cleaning tasks in a timely manner while adhering to health, safety, and security procedures
About You
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualities:
- A high attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile, taking pride and ownership of the role
- High standards of personal presentation, along with a friendly, helpful, and outgoing personality
- A 'can do' attitude
- Good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures
- Flexibility to work on short notice
- Previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment is preferred
- A passion for customer service and quality
