About the Role
We are excited to offer a full-time sales position in our Wairau Park store, specifically within the Computers and Communication department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to embrace your competitive nature while enjoying a base wage and uncapped commission. On average, our employees earn over $33 per hour in this dynamic environment.
As a customer-focused team member, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with our customers. We will provide you with training on our computer and communication products, empowering you to fully utilize your knowledge when assisting customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling computer and communication products and services
- Using our point of sale and customer service system
- Maintaining the presentation of the computer and communication department
- Assisting with operational tasks, such as stock takes
- Working across a 7-day roster, which includes weekends and public holiday shifts
About You
We are seeking a strong communicator who is eager to work hard and reap the rewards of their efforts. With our uncapped commission structure, you have the ability to influence your own earnings.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- A quick learner with a genuine interest in the retail industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and basic numeracy skills
- Experience in retail sales and familiarity with POS systems is desirable
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays
