About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist for a permanent, full-time position in our Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapy team. This role is essential in providing support to children and their families, utilizing a transdisciplinary model of practice.
The salary for this position ranges from $77,807 to $107,600, based on the Allied, Public Health Technical Pay Scale.
We invite applicants who possess a current practicing certificate and a clean driver’s license. A deep understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi principles and a sensitivity to diverse cultures are essential for this role.
We are particularly interested in therapists who have experience with a variety of disabilities and assessment tools relevant to children. However, if you are eager to develop your pediatric skills and learn within a collaborative framework, we offer a comprehensive education and on-the-job training program.
Requirements
- New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
- Current practicing certificate
- Clean driver’s license
- Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and cultural sensitivity
- A proactive, ‘whatever it takes’ attitude
