About the Role We are currently looking for a reliable and flexible Cleaner to join our commercial cleaning team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial spaces. This position requires a willingness to work flexible hours, including day, night, and weekend shifts, often with additional pay rates. There is also potential for this role to transition from temporary to permanent. The ideal candidate should possess their own transportation and demonstrate a friendly demeanor, along with a strong awareness of health and safety regulations. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Performing general cleaning duties to ensure a tidy and sanitary commercial environment. - Following established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistent and high-quality cleanliness standards. - Effectively and safely utilizing cleaning equipment and materials. - Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. - Collaborating with team members and management to achieve our collective cleaning goals. - Adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Requirements To be successful in this position, candidates should have: - Prior commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. - The ability to work flexible hours, including day, night, and weekend shifts with additional pay rates. - Reliable transportation for commuting to various work sites. - A willingness to learn and adapt to different cleaning techniques and equipment. - A strong team-oriented attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanor. - A conscientious attitude towards health and safety regulations in a commercial cleaning environment. Day-to-Day Your daily tasks will include: - Cleaning and sanitizing designated areas according to the schedule. - Communicating with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns. - Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition. - Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
