About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import Air to join our team in Auckland. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end transportation and shipment of Import Air consignments from origin to final delivery. This includes compiling, completing, and verifying the necessary documentation and data in CargoWise One, in alignment with our company policies and external regulations. Your typical day at DSV will involve collaborating with the Import Air team to ensure service accuracy and quality. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers both locally and internationally. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating transport from CTO to DSV and final delivery, ensuring that all milestones and key performance indicators are achieved. Additionally, you will accurately enter data into CargoWise One and process vendor invoices using SAP Webcost. Resolving issues with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers will be essential to your role. You will also calculate costs, GST, and dimensions for invoicing and space management while monitoring cargo availability to coordinate delivery based on customer requirements. We encourage you to drive process improvements and actively participate in team meetings. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented, delivering accurate and high-quality work while striving for operational excellence. You should be process-focused, able to follow procedures while contributing to team efficiency and improvements. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as you will need to take initiative to address roadblocks and escalate issues that may impact service or revenue. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with CargoWise One or similar systems is preferred. Flexibility is also important, as you will need to be available for weekend roster duties, including Sundays, with additional remuneration provided.
