About the Role We are currently looking to add a Faultman to our Reactive Services Business Unit team based in Upper Hutt. In this full-time, permanent position, you will be guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include: - Responding to, assessing, and attending to all assigned service requests within established service levels. - Performing high voltage switching and isolation of plant. - Carrying out repair and maintenance work to meet Omexom and customer standards. - Identifying and reporting any unscheduled work that may indicate network equipment is unsafe or non-functional. - Ensuring that vehicles and allocated equipment are well presented and maintained. - Working towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and adhering to Omexom’s operational and quality processes. Qualifications and Skills To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Qualified and registered line mechanic. - Experience and training in switching. - A heavy vehicle license, with a minimum requirement of class 2. - It is desirable to have recently held faultman network warrants and Transpower switching experience.
