About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both fieldwork and office tasks. As a Survey Technician, you will utilize advanced tools such as GNSS, robotic total stations, and 12d software to provide high-quality outcomes for our diverse clientele. This role is ideal for recent school, university, or polytechnic graduates who enjoy working outdoors and are eager to develop new skills in the surveying field. You will have the chance to engage in various projects, from researching land titles and boundary records to preparing survey plans and communicating with contractors and councils. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are organized, proactive, and reliable team players. A passion for the outdoors and a desire to learn from experienced licensed surveyors are essential. Familiarity with surveying equipment, including GNSS and total stations, as well as software such as 12d, Landonline, or AutoCAD, will be beneficial. A full driver's license is required, and additional qualifications such as STMS Level 1, First Aid, SiteSafe certification, and the ability to drive a manual vehicle are advantageous. While this is an entry-level role, any hands-on experience in surveying field and office work will be considered a plus.
