About the Role We are currently seeking a Class 4 Driver to serve as a Cover Driver. This position will primarily be based in Auckland, but it requires travel to various depots across New Zealand to provide cover when other drivers are on leave. We are looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver who is familiar with the diverse geographies of New Zealand and is willing to travel throughout the country. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering cylinders filled with cryogenic products and LPG to customer sites. The variety of this role offers the opportunity to travel to different locations and engage with a range of customers. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, starting at 6 am, with finishing times varying based on delivery schedules. Some weekend travel may be required. You will be responsible for loading the truck with cryogenic and LPG cylinders, ensuring safe delivery and unloading at customer sites, maintaining the truck and equipment, and adhering to our health and safety standards. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proven Class 4 driving experience, preferably in a dangerous goods environment. - A clean driver’s license. - Physical fitness and a willingness to engage in manual labor. - Flexibility and adaptability, coupled with a strong work ethic. - A safety-first mindset with the ability to identify and minimize risks. - A Dangerous Goods certificate is advantageous but not essential, as we offer training.
