This position offers flexible hours based on business needs, providing a great opportunity to supplement your income. Working at RNZAF Ohakea, you will have the chance to engage in a unique environment while delivering premium service and products. Located in the Manawatu district, RNZAF Ohakea is conveniently situated 26 km west of Palmerston North and within easy reach of stunning outdoor activities, including fly fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. This busy Airforce Base serves as the hub of New Zealand's air wing, offering unparalleled insight into military training. Responsibilities As a Casual Catering Assistant, your responsibilities will include: - Waiting and clearing tables - Dishwashing and pot washing - Receiving and unloading deliveries - Assisting with food preparation - Providing professional customer service - Supporting general kitchen and cleaning duties Requirements The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork. You should be organized, hardworking, and possess a friendly, outgoing personality along with a 'can-do' attitude. A full unrestricted New Zealand driver's license is required for this role. Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, and candidates should either hold a food safety certification (Unit Standard 167) or be willing to complete the training.
