About the Role We are currently seeking dedicated workers who can commit to at least 3 to 5 days a week. The more flexible you are with your availability, the more work opportunities we can provide as they arise. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role. You will be required to travel to various work sites across the Wellington Region, including Porirua, Hutt Valley, Northern Suburbs, Eastern, and Southern Wellington Suburbs. While we strive to assign you to sites close to your home base, this may not always be feasible. Please note that reliable transportation is necessary, as public transport will not be available for your daily commutes. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the setup, maintenance, and removal of temporary worksites under the supervision of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). - Safely directing vehicles and pedestrians through work sites. Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess: - A positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Although TTMW/TMO tickets are preferred, they are not essential. - Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to your work. - Availability for at least three days a week, with some weekend work as needed. - The ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn. - The capability to pass a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random tests. - Reliable transportation to commute to and from work. Additional Information This position operates on a casual, on-call basis, with pay ranging from $23.50 to $25.50 per hour plus an additional 8% holiday pay.
