About the Role We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for various construction projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. This position demands strong analytical abilities and a meticulous attention to detail to optimize project costs and enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for our projects. Additionally, you will monitor and manage project expenses and contracts, conduct risk assessments, and perform value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution. Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements will also be part of your responsibilities, along with preparing and reviewing bills of quantities and tender documents. You will track project progress and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and project budgeting is essential. A strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry regulations is required.
