About the Role
We are currently seeking a Secretary for a full-time, fixed-term role based in Queenstown, starting in July 2025 and concluding in February 2026. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our services by delivering timely and effective administrative support.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality, responsive administrative assistance to our team.
- Delivering excellent customer service and acting as an ambassador for Health NZ Southern.
- Being an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team.
About the Team/Service/Location
Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern covers the largest geographical area among New Zealand's regions, serving approximately 350,000 individuals in diverse communities. About You
We are looking for a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate should be adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
You will need at least two years of administrative experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. We seek an experienced administrator who thrives in a team environment and can cultivate positive interpersonal relationships.
Our successful applicant will possess:
- A minimum of two years of administrative experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team and foster good interpersonal relationships.
