About the Company
At sKids, we believe that childhood should be filled with laughter, learning, and adventure. Since our inception in 1996, we have been dedicated to creating exceptional out-of-school experiences for children across New Zealand. Currently, we welcome over 3,800 children daily at more than 170 school sites, and our growth continues.
About the Role
As an Assistant Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in making mornings and afternoons memorable for children. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our sKids programmes. This includes everything from set-up to ensuring smooth operations while fostering strong relationships within our school communities. You will supervise and participate in a variety of engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, and offsite adventures, including swimming, walks, picnics, movies, baking, drama, and music.
Your role will also involve leading safe, fun, and engaging sessions that keep the children energized while ensuring everything runs seamlessly. As the friendly face for parents and schools, you will maintain warm and positive communication. Additionally, you will guide, support, and inspire your team to deliver their best each day, arriving early to prepare activities, coordinate Programme Assistants, and set up resources for a smooth start.
