About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Roofer to join a leading roofing company based in Christchurch. This role will involve working on a mix of residential and light commercial projects, ensuring that no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at heights and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe working environment as part of a dedicated crew. What’s In It For You - A competitive hourly rate ranging from $29 to $34, depending on experience - Immediate start with consistent working hours - A supportive team environment and well-organized job sites - A variety of projects to keep your work engaging and interesting What You Will Be Doing - Installing metal roofing, insulated panels, and cladding - Working on both residential and light commercial builds - Safely and efficiently using roofing tools - Following site plans and adhering to supervisor instructions - Maintaining strong health and safety standards at all times What We Require - A minimum of 1 year of roofing experience - Confidence in working at heights - Ownership of basic roofing tools - A Class 1 driver’s license - Site Safe certification (or willingness to obtain) - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND Why Choose Max People?
