About the Role
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join our Bio Tissues team. This position reports to our Healthcare Quality Manager and involves managing healthcare quality management system (QMS) documentation and records. You will assist with various QMS processes, including some quality control activities.
In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate documentation and quality records.
- Keeping processing record files and databases up to date.
- Supporting quality assurance programs in alignment with ISO 13485 and ISO 22442-2 standards.
- Assisting with audits, managing non-conformance issues, and overseeing change control.
- Investigating customer complaints as necessary.
- Producing export documentation as required.
- Assisting with additional duties as needed from time to time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field, or you may have 2 to 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing or regulated environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a similar field.
You should be familiar with ISO 13485 and ISO 22442-2 standards and possess a strong understanding of quality systems and processes. A working knowledge of regulatory requirements for processing and exporting animal-derived materials, particularly in the biomedical industry, is also important.
Additionally, proficiency in data analysis and documentation practices is essential. Experience in a meat-processing environment, especially related to healthcare products, will be considered an advantage.
