About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist to provide coverage across our acute inpatient areas. In this role, you will support our team in maintaining consistent and high-quality service delivery throughout the workweek.
As an ideal candidate, you are a New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist with a genuine passion for working with patients in an acute inpatient setting. You will possess comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment. Strong communication skills are essential for effective liaison with health professionals and agencies. Your adaptability and resourcefulness will help you thrive in a flexible and busy setting that promotes interprofessional practice to meet the needs of our service.
Experience in managing complex physical health caseloads and discharge planning is preferred. Additionally, experience in acute physical health inpatient care and stroke rehabilitation is desirable. If this aligns with your skills and aspirations, we would love to see your application.
