About the Role We are currently looking for skilled and experienced Steel Fixers to join our hardworking team. This role requires individuals who are physically fit and prepared for a demanding workday. If you have a strong background in steel and concrete, we want to hear from you. Requirements - Prior experience in steel fixing, particularly with precast concrete panel work - Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions - Willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks - Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions - Strong understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites - Reliability and punctuality, with a strong sense of pride in your work Duties Will Include - Cutting, bending, and tying rebar to meet required specifications - Assembling steel reinforcement for precast concrete panels - Installing mesh and spacers to ensure accurate concrete cover - Ensuring correct placement and securing of steel reinforcement - Using hand and power tools for shaping and securing rebar - Collaborating closely with other trades and supervisors to meet project deadlines - Adhering to all site safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements - Maintaining a clean and organized work area Additional Info This is an outdoor role, and candidates must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
