Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of tamariki and their families. We are currently seeking a Centre Administrator to join our wonderful team.
About the Role
This part-time position offers 20 hours per week, spread across five days from Monday to Friday. As the Centre Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of our centre, responsible for supporting teachers, tamariki, and whānau with various administrative tasks. Your contributions will help maintain the smooth operation of our centre while fostering the warm, community-focused atmosphere that we pride ourselves on.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Greeting families and visitors with a friendly demeanor
- Managing enrolments, attendance, and records
- Supporting staff with general administration and communication
- Coordinating supplies, invoices, and correspondence
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Confidence in using computers, with experience in ECE systems being an advantage
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine love for working with children
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
