About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Childminder to care for our energetic 10-year-old daughter during the school holidays. Our daughter is full of energy and curiosity, with a playful spirit that keeps each day lively. She has some special needs, including global development delay and a language disorder, which requires a patient and understanding caregiver.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and will be comfortable engaging her in various activities that stimulate her growth and development. Your role will involve planning fun and educational activities, ensuring her safety, and providing emotional support while encouraging her independence.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
- A nurturing and patient demeanor
- Ability to engage and stimulate a child's curiosity
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with our daughter
- A flexible schedule to accommodate school holiday hours
