About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified, and registered teacher to join our team in a full-time capacity. We offer flexibility regarding the age group this position will focus on, and we encourage applications from teachers who are passionate about working with any age range.
Our long-standing team at Bear Park Mairangi Bay is deeply committed to providing individualized and creative education to every child in our care. Our teaching spaces include four large rooms, complemented by a generous outdoor environment that promotes child-led learning and play.
In our outdoor area, children can explore meandering pathways, lush grass, and native trees. Features such as a river bed, movable outdoor climbing equipment, a rocking bridge, and large sandpits encourage adventurous play. These elements help young minds appreciate the richness and endless possibilities of the natural environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- A recognized teaching qualification and registration
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
