About the Role
We are currently seeking positive, energetic, and reliable Cleaning Assistants to join our Casual Relief Pool. In this role, you will work at multiple Senior Living sites throughout the Auckland region on an as-needed basis. Given the nature of the position, you will need access to reliable transportation or your own vehicle, as travel between sites will be required. Compensation will reflect the use of your own car.
Requirements
As a Cleaning Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing exit and detail cleaning tasks
- Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, rooms, and offices
- Vacuuming and polishing floors
- Emptying rubbish bins
- Maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Executing any other general cleaning duties as required
You will need to manage your cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to health, safety, and security procedures.

- A keen attention to detail
- A willingness to go the extra mile, taking pride in their work
- High standards of personal presentation
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- A good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures
- Flexibility to work on short notice
- Previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment
- A passion for customer service and quality
