About the Role As a result of service growth, CAFS is seeking a Child and Family Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team. In this position, you will work within a well-established and vibrant multi-disciplinary team, providing support to children, young people, and their families facing a variety of complex mental health challenges. You will play a crucial role in implementing locally developed services and care pathways that positively impact the lives of the children and young people we serve. We offer flexibility in this role and welcome discussions about both part-time and full-time options to find the best fit for you. About the Team/Service/Location At CAFS, we are committed to delivering timely, locally-based, high-quality interventions that promote mental health and help children and young people thrive in their home and educational environments. About You We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative psychologist with experience in child and adolescent mental health. You should be capable of providing comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people. Key attributes and skills we seek include: - Excellent communication and liaison skills, enabling effective collaboration with other professionals within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Maui Hawke's Bay and the broader community. - Registration as a psychologist in New Zealand is essential. - Flexibility to provide focused, shorter-term interventions based on referral reasons.
