About the Role As a result of service growth, CAFS is seeking a Child and Family Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team. In this position, you will work within a well-established and vibrant multi-disciplinary team, providing support to children, young people, and their families facing a variety of complex mental health challenges. You will play a crucial role in implementing locally developed services and care pathways that positively impact the lives of the children and young people we serve. About You We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative psychologist with experience in child and adolescent mental health. You should be capable of providing comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people. Key attributes and skills we seek include: - Excellent communication and liaison skills, enabling effective collaboration with other professionals within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Maui Hawke's Bay and the broader community. - Registration as a psychologist in New Zealand is essential. - Flexibility to provide focused, shorter-term interventions based on referral reasons.
