About the Role
We are currently seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, with a commitment of 0.8 FTE. In this role, you will support our nurses and other healthcare team members in delivering exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient supervision and movement
- Reconciling stock and maintaining ward organization
- Providing patient care as needed
This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your caring and empathetic nature while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare sector. You will receive on-the-job training, including the opportunity to achieve a fully funded NZQA Level 3 certificate in Health and Wellbeing for Hospitals and Health Sector.
