About the Role
We are seeking a Manager for our Mental Health and Addictions Services, who will report directly to the Group Director Operations Taranaki. This role is pivotal in providing both operational planning and leadership within our designated area of responsibility.
In this position, you will oversee service delivery and the implementation of new strategies, while contributing to various projects within the service. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working alongside Senior Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health Leaders to support, coordinate, and monitor teams and outcomes across all services.
Additionally, you will engage with relevant external stakeholders and other service providers to achieve our shared service goals, fostering open communication among all parties involved, both within and outside Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.

About You
To excel in this role, it is essential that you have:
- Post-registration experience in a clinical management position, preferably within mental health and addictions
- A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate qualifications and experience in leadership and/or management
The successful candidate will receive extensive support through a comprehensive orientation and induction program. Strong working relationships with the Clinical Director, Associate Director of Allied Health, Associate Director of Nursing, and relevant multi-disciplinary staff will be crucial for success in this role.
