About the Role We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. In this leadership role, you will blend hands-on cleaning responsibilities with team supervision and client engagement. You will lead and manage cleaning teams across designated sites, ensuring service standards are consistently met and that our contractual obligations are fulfilled. What You Will Do In this position, you will supervise and work alongside our cleaning teams to uphold service quality. You will implement staff rosters and cleaning schedules within established budgets and timelines. Providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to a diverse team will be essential. You will maintain strong client relationships, addressing any issues or service variations promptly. Additionally, overseeing stock and consumables management, as well as ensuring timely and accurate timesheet submissions, will be part of your responsibilities. Leading toolbox talks, team meetings, and safety briefings will also be critical in promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture. What You Will Bring To be successful in this role, you should have 2 to 5 years of experience in cleaning supervision or similar leadership positions. A proven ability to manage teams and cleaning operations across multiple or complex sites is essential. You should possess a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and cleaning best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills are a must. While a Certificate or Diploma in Business or Cleaning is preferred, relevant experience may suffice. Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to site needs is also important. We are looking for a natural leader who can motivate a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a solutions-focused approach with great attention to detail. Who We Are Looking For We seek candidates with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred, but not essential. Reliability, responsibility, and a pride in team performance are key attributes we value. A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, NZ work rights, a clean criminal record, and a full, clean driver’s license with reliable transport are also necessary for this role.
