About the Company
Royal District Nursing Services (RDNS NZ) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing Home and Community-based Nursing Services throughout New Zealand. As we expand our services in the beautiful Northland region, we are eager to welcome new team members who are committed to making a difference in their communities. We are currently seeking dedicated caregivers for weekend shifts to join our team on a casual basis, offering a flexible opportunity to grow with us.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including providing personal care, household cleaning, wellness checks, medication prompting, and meal preparation. The positions are available in locations such as Whangarei, Kerikeri, Kaitaia, Ruakaka, and Kaikohe.

We provide a comprehensive orientation and training program to ensure you are fully equipped for your role. You will receive uniforms, personal protective equipment, and a mobile phone that includes live roster and communication tools. Our customer service team is available from 7 am to 7 pm daily to assist you with any needs or inquiries. Additionally, we offer professional development opportunities and ongoing training to support your career growth.
What We Need From You
We are looking for individuals who possess a caring and empathetic nature. Reliability, honesty, and integrity are essential qualities we value in our caregivers. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for building rapport with clients, along with excellent time management and organizational skills. We also emphasize the importance of valuing diversity and inclusion in our workplace. A minimum Restricted Driver’s License and access to your own vehicle are required for this role.
