About the Role
We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Christchurch. In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing sales team throughout our South Island region. Your primary responsibilities will include driving sales activity, implementing data-driven strategies, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders to maximize occupancy, drive revenue growth, and enhance customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspiring, motivating, coaching, and mentoring Sales Advisors to drive contracts of sale, achieve occupancy, maximize value per sale, and ensure revenue growth.
- Identifying market opportunities, adjusting strategies based on competitor analysis, and driving action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Reviewing weekly analysis related to inquiry levels, interactions with potential residents, and engagement with local community groups, while following up with Sales Advisors as needed.
- Ensuring effective CRM management (Salesforce) and tracking of sales pipelines.
- Monitoring advertising effectiveness and collaborating with our Marketing team to refine campaigns.
- Analyzing relevant sales data to meet key sales objectives.
- Forecasting sales results and future growth outcomes while ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet financial targets.

Who Are You?

- Proven sales leadership experience and a track record of exceeding targets.
- A strong commercial mindset, with analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience in managing long transactional sales processes and high-value sales.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- A drive to succeed and the ability to deliver confidently in a fast-paced environment.
- A belief in the importance of strong, positive, and trusting teams that work together harmoniously.
- Resilience and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- A commitment to clear, effective, and unambiguous communication.
