    About the Company At Hollyford Valley Walk, we are passionate about connecting people with the stunning landscapes of Te Rua o te Moko/Fiordland National Park. About the Role We are currently seeking enthusiastic Kaiarahi (Hiking Guides) to join our team for a fixed term position from October 2025 to April 2026. In this role, you will lead our guests (manuhiri) on remarkable journeys through the Hollyford Valley, immersing them in the area's rich Maori heritage and the stories of early explorers. Each day will present new adventures, from engaging discussions about the land's history, ecology, and culture to exploring pristine sand dunes. The experience will culminate in breathtaking helicopter rides into Piopiotahi/Milford Sound. Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess a warm and welcoming personality, as manaakitanga (hospitality) is central to our ethos. Candidates should have: - A passion for storytelling to bring history, ecology, and culture to life - Strong tramping and/or guiding experience in Aotearoa - Excellent physical fitness and a commitment to safety - The ability to adapt as a team player in the dynamic outdoor environment - A willingness to learn te reo Maori and engage with Ngai Tahu values We welcome applications from both experienced guides and those new to the field, as we have lead and co-guide roles available for the right candidates.
