About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for casual cleaning positions to support our healthcare facility at Te Whatu Ora Taranaki. Our Cleaning Operators play a crucial role in the prevention and control of infection throughout the hospital. You will be responsible for maintaining acceptable cleaning standards and ensuring compliance with relevant protocols.

About the Team/Service/Location
Our dedicated team consists of over 40 staff members who work across two shifts, providing cleaning services seven days a week, including all public holidays.

About You
We are looking for candidates with experience in the cleaning industry, preferably within a healthcare environment. Experience with floor care using electric floor buffers is a plus. You should be physically fit and flexible, as varied shifts may be required.
A good understanding of health and safety in the workplace is essential. While NZQA cleaning qualifications at level 2 or 3 are preferable, they are not mandatory. We provide opportunities for formal and specialized training that will be encouraged.
