About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Milling Machine Operator to join our Surfacing Division in Palmerston North. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about road construction and has a keen eye for detail. As a Milling Operator, you will operate various equipment, including milling machines, rollers, pavers, and trucks, while ensuring that safety and quality standards are met.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in surfacing is essential.
- A minimum of a full Class 2 license with WTR endorsements, along with experience operating asphalt rollers, pavers, and milling machinery.
- A high level of physical fitness, as this is a hands-on position.
- The willingness to work nights when required.
- A strong focus on health and safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public.
- A self-motivated, reliable, and honest demeanor, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
