About the Role We are seeking a Service Centre Operator to join our team at our Pukekohe store. This role is vital to our operations, as our Service Centre Operators are at the heart of what we do. In this position, you will be responsible for: - Processing customer orders and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies. - Operating loaders and forklifts, including performing routine maintenance. - Managing fixed plant operations and ensuring the site operates safely through regular maintenance checks. - Conducting cleaning of both fixed and mobile plant equipment. - Engaging with customers and colleagues, fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment. You can expect a dynamic workday that keeps you active and involved in our operations while building relationships with our customers. About You We are looking for someone who is hardworking and thrives on being hands-on. Your colleagues would describe you as reliable, honest, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will possess: - Strong communication skills and the ability to connect well with others. - Basic computer skills, with training provided for our in-house systems. - A valid full class 1 license; training for forklift and loader operations can be provided. - A proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring that everyone returns home safely each day. - Flexibility to work at other Ballance locations as needed.
