This leadership role is essential for advocating for both our customers and our products within our Product Engineering teams. As a Senior Product Owner, you will take ownership of outcomes, ensuring that our teams are focused on the right priorities. You will be responsible for making key trade-off decisions based on value and impact, as well as being accountable for delivering results that shift our key metrics. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams to prioritize and refine the roadmap and backlog. You will also identify and manage dependencies while maintaining the health, resilience, and stability of our systems. What You Can Expect from This Role You will be responsible for balancing value, viability, feasibility, and usability while being accountable for the short-term roadmap and the outcomes associated with product delivery. Working closely with the Product Manager and squad leadership, you will strive to understand our strategic objectives, define OKRs, and create actionable plans. As the central point of contact between the business and the squads, you will be tasked with maximizing value and mitigating risks. You will contribute throughout the product delivery life cycle, ensuring that squads understand the intent, scope, and business value of their work and how it aligns with our committed OKRs. Additionally, you will consult with Product and Data Analysts to define success measures and determine what data needs to be captured for analysis. This will facilitate short feedback loops to enable data-driven decision-making. You will plan with squad capacity in mind, using flow metrics and other factors to negotiate delivery commitments. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and managing dependencies, leading release change and rollout planning, and monitoring new products or features in production. You will keep stakeholders informed of progress and ensure proactive communication. Monitoring delivery progress and key metrics will allow you to adjust priorities and approaches as needed. You will contribute to the creation and maintenance of relevant product and process documentation while maintaining a focus on overarching product and business goals, as well as operational risks. Requirements To excel in this role, you should have: - Over 5 years of experience leading Product Engineering teams to deliver successful outcomes, with a solid understanding of product, design, and engineering practices, including web and mobile technologies. - Experience working in an agile development environment and a strong grasp of agile methodologies. - A proven track record of developing flexible, value-driven product roadmaps that clarify direction, take ownership of outcomes, identify opportunities, and deliver measurable results. - Experience using outcome-based metrics to assess the impact of changes. - A results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and motivate others. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and listen to others, as well as communicate confidently with stakeholders and customers. - Exceptional organizational and planning skills, along with the ability to facilitate discussions effectively. - Energy, drive, and enthusiasm for achieving results, coupled with a genuine desire to engage and motivate team members. - Proficiency in risk management and robust decision-making based on risk assessment. - Confidence in using collaborative tools for planning and scope clarification, such as Miro, LucidChart, and Jira.
