About the Role We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide warm and responsive care to our youngest tamariki in a nurturing, respectful, and engaging environment. As an integral part of our team, you will support children’s development and help maintain a calm, well-organized space that aligns with Montessori principles. Your responsibilities will include: - Building secure relationships with tamariki and their whānau - Supporting learning and care routines with enthusiasm and consistency - Collaborating with the team to cover breaks and assist across all age groups as needed - Contributing to the daily rhythm of the center and enhancing the wider learning environment Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess: - Experience working with children under five, particularly infants and toddlers - A calm, nurturing demeanor with the ability to connect with young children - A high level of initiative and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team - An Early Childhood Education qualification is not required for this role Benefits At BestStart, we are committed to being a leader in early childhood education, offering a progressive and supportive environment focused on making a positive difference in children’s lives.
