We are seeking experienced commercial carpenters to join our large South Island construction company, which boasts a strong forward workload and two years of secured work ahead. Pay & Project Details The hourly pay for this role ranges from $30 to $35, commensurate with experience. We offer negotiable contracting rates, with a start date set for January 12, 2026. This position guarantees long-term engagement for up to two years. Your responsibilities will include completing first and second fix work to a high standard and adhering to site processes while following direction from experienced forepersons. What We Require To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of five years of commercial carpentry experience, along with a solid understanding of the New Zealand Building Code. A strong commitment to health and safety is essential. You must possess a full set of carpentry tools, including a nail gun, and hold a valid Site Safe Passport (or be willing to obtain one, as we can assist you). Reliable transport and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test are also required.
