Forklift Operator

About the Company We are a well-known manufacturer of animal feed based in Rolleston. Our company prides itself on delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are currently seeking a reliable forklift operator/storeman to join our well-established Distribution Centre. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, pick packing, and general warehousing duties. This is a day shift position, offering consistent hours from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The pay rate starts at $25.00 per hour, depending on your experience. Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria: - A current OSH certificate and F endorsement, with a minimum of one year of experience - Own reliable transport - Ability to follow instructions effectively and work safely as part of a team - Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and laboring tasks as needed, along with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods Daily duties will include: - Operating a forklift with a valid F endorsement and OSH certification - Loading and unloading trucks - Pick packing using RF scanning technology - Heavy lifting of items up to 25 kilograms - Dispatching and checking off stock - Performing general laboring duties as required Benefits We offer a competitive hourly wage of $25.00 along with consistent day shift hours.
