    About the Company Tradestaff Global is a leading provider of workforce solutions in the construction industry. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified tradespeople to work at McMurdo Station in Antarctica for the summer season of 2025/26. This is an incredible opportunity to experience one of the world’s most remote and beautiful locations. About the Role We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team on a large commercial construction project. Deployments are expected to take place from approximately October 2025 through to March 2026. The roles we have available require hard-working team players who are willing to take on various tasks, contribute actively, and support one another in a challenging environment. The following positions are available: - Commercial Plumbers with a current Certifying Licence - HVAC Technicians - Duct Installers - Commercial Electricians with a current NZ Practising Licence - Pipe Welders with a current ASME 9 Ticket - Pipe Fitters - Qualified Commercial Carpenters / Builders (Trade Qualified) Requirements Please note that due to travel restrictions, we can only accept applications from New Zealand and US citizens who hold New Zealand or US passports and are currently living and working in New Zealand. To be eligible for these roles, you must meet the following criteria: - Willingness to receive Flu, Tdap, and MMR vaccinations - Ability to commit to long-term deployment on-site; these roles are not 'fly in, fly out' - Flexibility to work long hours, six days a week - Passing of medical and dental checks, security clearance, and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test - A Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence and a clean criminal record - Patience and attention to detail throughout the lengthy application process - Preparedness to travel to Tauranga for medical and dental examinations, with travel costs covered for those coming from outside the Bay of Plenty Benefits In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive compensation package.
