About the Role We are currently recruiting for multiple Dump Truck and Roller Drivers for long-term civil and earthworks projects in Christchurch. In this role, you will be an integral part of established site crews, contributing to bulk earthworks, roading, and subdivision projects. We are looking for operators who are confident in their abilities to operate dump trucks and rollers, have a solid understanding of site flow, and can work efficiently and safely in fast-paced environments. What You Will Be Doing - Operating dump trucks to transport bulk materials across the site - Utilizing rollers for compaction tasks - Following site plans and adhering to supervisor instructions - Ensuring safety while working around machinery, trucks, and ground crews - Completing daily pre-start checks and performing basic maintenance - Assisting the wider crew as needed What We Require - Proven experience operating dump trucks and/or rollers - WTR endorsements (required) - Class 1 license (Class 2 license is an advantage) - Strong awareness of health and safety protocols on civil sites - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand Benefits - Competitive hourly rates ranging from $28 to $30, paid weekly - Ongoing work with reputable civil contractors - Consistent hours across multiple projects - Support from a recruiter who understands civil construction and site requirements If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to advance your career in civil construction, we invite you to apply and join our team at Max People.
