About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator to join our supportive team at Ernest Rutherford Village in Stoke, Nelson. This position is available Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of recreational, social, and craft activities for our residents. Your efforts will be focused on promoting their happiness, well-being, and overall quality of life. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure a harmonious environment for our residents. A full driver's license and comfort with driving a manual van are required for this position.
About You
To succeed in our caring environment, we are looking for candidates who have experience working with individuals who have dementia. Strong empathy, outstanding communication skills, and a reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor are essential attributes we seek in an ideal candidate. While experience in aged care is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
