About the Role
VTNZ Blenheim is currently seeking a skilled CoF B Automotive Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will be valued. We offer secure employment along with development opportunities through our award-winning in-house training program.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail and excels in teamwork while providing excellent customer care. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with some rostered weekend work.
To be considered for this role, you should possess a CoF B Authority. If you do not currently have this certification, we can assist you in obtaining it at our training center. However, it is essential that you have at least four years of experience as a diesel mechanic, specifically in the repairs and maintenance of heavy on-road motor vehicles, covering all safety aspects. A minimum Class 2 NZ driver's license or its equivalent is required.
Please note that if you hold a Level 4 qualification or higher, which includes the necessary credits and knowledge requirements of the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (NZQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification, the experience requirement may be reduced to three years.
