About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for non-training Orthopaedic Registrars to start their careers in orthopaedic surgery. MidCentral District is an ideal place for Orthopaedic Registrars to enhance their skills and grow professionally. Our focus on training and development in surgical skills is something we take pride in. Registrars will have the chance to engage in a variety of elective surgeries and manage a high volume of trauma cases.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration. You can verify your eligibility by visiting the Medical Council’s website.
- Completion of PGY2 or an equivalent program.
- Completion of the GSSE exam will be considered advantageous but is not a mandatory requirement.
