About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team at Waitakere Hospital and North Shore Hospital. With a capacity of 271 and 631 beds respectively, these training hospitals cater to a growing population of over 640,000 in the western and northern regions of Auckland. This is a permanent position, and we welcome applications for both part-time and full-time hours.
As part of our dynamic imaging team, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of interesting work, including general, obstetric, pediatric, vascular, and some musculoskeletal examinations. Our ultrasound departments are busy and provide a stimulating environment where you can expand your knowledge and skills while contributing to the education of others.
Additionally, we offer extensive professional development opportunities, including seven days of paid educational leave each year, fully funded attendance at conferences, reimbursement for registration and membership fees, and a complimentary gym membership.

About You
We are looking for a Sonographer with vascular training experience who is passionate about teaching, learning, and collaborating in a team environment. Vascular experience is essential, and while competency in general and obstetric ultrasound is preferred, it is not mandatory. You must possess qualifications recognized by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
