About the Role As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive the success of our retail location. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development In this role, you will work alongside the Store Manager to lead a motivated and engaged team. You will foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and shared goals. Your focus on training and development will empower your team to excel and grow. Clear and transparent communication will be key to maintaining alignment and trust within the team. You will also ensure the team is knowledgeable about our products to provide outstanding customer service. Operational Excellence You will assist in the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and housekeeping will be essential to enhance the shopping experience. Prioritizing health and safety, you will conduct regular risk assessments to ensure a secure environment for both staff and customers. Additionally, you will play an active role in recruiting and retaining top talent to build a strong and motivated team. Sales & Performance Supporting the achievement of sales targets will be a vital part of your responsibilities. You will drive profitability through effective strategies and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and sustain store success. Overseeing stock levels and ensuring accurate delivery management will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency. Implementing proactive loss prevention strategies will also be part of your role to protect the store’s profitability.
