About the Role
We are currently seeking motivated and engaged individuals to join our teams located at 120 Hereford Street, Christchurch. As a Life and Identity Services Officer (LISO), you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that provides a range of vital identity services, including Passport and Citizenship services, RealMe Verified Identities, and handling Births, Deaths, and Marriages.
In this role, you will initially interact with customers directly through phone, email, or in-person communication. As you gain experience, you will also assess applications and ensure that the products we provide meet our high standards. Your contributions will help maintain the trusted reputation of our Regulatory and Identity Services Branch.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong customer service orientation and be willing to learn about the unique needs of our customers, including New Zealand citizens and those aspiring to become citizens. Experience in customer service or administrative roles will provide you with the transferable skills required for this position.
You will need to demonstrate a consistent ability to meet high standards of accuracy and timeliness, while also adhering to our operating policies and procedures when making decisions on customer requests and applications. A strong customer focus is essential, as you will be championing the needs of our clients and identifying opportunities to enhance our services and accessibility. Comfort in assisting customers with digital transactions is also a key aspect of this role.
