About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters for various opportunities in the Waikato region, with potential assignments in the Bay of Plenty. This role is ideal for skilled tradespeople who have a solid background in residential, commercial, and civil carpentry projects. The primary focus of your work will be in the Waikato area, but you may also be called upon to assist in the Bay of Plenty region, which will be discussed further with the successful candidate. What You’ll Be Doing We are looking for carpenters who are confident in a variety of tasks, including: - Residential, commercial, and civil carpentry - First, second, and final fix work - Reading plans and following specifications - Shuttering joinery and steel tying - Framing, subflooring, cladding, and roof framing - Concrete formwork (this is considered a bonus) Your expertise will be invaluable whether you are constructing new homes, working on commercial interiors, or contributing to civil infrastructure projects. Requirements To be considered for this role, we require: - A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience - A trade qualification is preferred, but substantial experience will also be considered - Your own hand and power tools - A full license and reliable transportation - Two work references - A strong commitment to health and safety practices - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits In return for your skills and dedication, we offer: - Competitive pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience - A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours of work per week - Diverse and ongoing projects - Support from a respected recruiter who is dedicated to your success - Opportunities for long-term placements If you are ready to take on your next challenge, we encourage you to apply now.
